Features
Grouped by what you get out of it.
Each group below says what you do in the workspace, what your customer sees in the portal, and where that feature stands in this release. Every preview is an example with fictional content.
Present your business
LiveBranding and company showcase.
The portal carries your company, not ours.
What you do
- Upload your logo and choose an accent colour during setup.
- Pick a portal appearance preset (Signature, Bold or Classic), adjust colours, add a cover image and a welcome message.
- Publish photos of previous work to a showcase your customers can browse.
What your customer sees
- Your name and logo in the header, your colours throughout, your contact details on the page.
- An “Our work” section with the jobs you have chosen to show.

Get decisions
LiveQuotes, revisions and acceptance.
Publish the PDF you already wrote and get a recorded answer.
What you do
- Upload a quote PDF. Digital PDFs are read for the reference, date and total; you confirm before publishing.
- Publish, revise with a new version, or withdraw. Set an expiry date if you want one.
- See who accepted, the wording they confirmed, the PDF version they saw and when.
What your customer sees
- The quote PDF, the amount and the expiry, with the current version clearly marked.
- Accept by ticking the confirmation and entering their name, or decline with an optional reason.
- A revision of an accepted quote asks for a fresh acceptance and keeps the earlier one.
The acceptance is a recorded confirmation, not a certified digital signature.

Manage next actions
LiveNotifications and outstanding tasks.
Know what is waiting on you, and what is waiting on them.
What you do
- A notification bell and notification centre for quote decisions, contract steps and setup tasks.
- An action list on the dashboard, derived from the records themselves. Reading a notification does not clear the task.
- Owner-only items stay with the owner; staff see what they can act on.
What your customer sees
- Quotes awaiting approval, contracts awaiting review and payments due shown first when they sign in.

Contracts and payments
In testingBuilt in, with clear release gates.
Both exist in the product today. Neither is live for real agreements or real money yet, and the portal says so.
What you do
- Build a contract document from a questionnaire, preview the PDF and issue it. Signing runs as a demonstration.
- Set out a deposit, named stage payments and a final balance on a project, and compare the schedule with the accepted quote.
- Connect a Stripe account from Payments settings. Payments are taken on your account, not ours, once live card payments are switched on.
What your customer sees
- A contract to review with a clear demonstration notice.
- Published payment stages with amounts and due dates. Card payment is in testing and not yet live.
Live signing and live card payments are release decisions that have not been made yet. Nothing on this page should be read as a promise of a date.

Card payment is in testing. Live payments are not switched on; a stage that cannot be paid shows the reason instead of a pay button.
Not included
What Contractor Connect does not do.
So there are no surprises after you sign up.
- Messaging or chat between you and the customer.
- Automatic reminders or chasers.
- A snagging register or handover pack.
- Accounting sync with Xero, QuickBooks or similar.
- Custom domains such as portal.yourcompany.co.uk.
- Scanned-PDF reading. Digital PDFs are read; scans are typed in.
If one of these matters to you, tell us. It helps decide what gets built next; it is not a commitment.
